Team Introduction

LowV Systems, Inc. grew from founder Ken Darr’s hands-on experience with electrical work, access control, video surveillance, fire alarms, and building automation. That background shaped a practical view of technology: every system should support the organization using it, and every provider should take clear responsibility for its work.

As business technology became more connected, separating IT, cybersecurity, and physical security created avoidable gaps. Organizations were left coordinating multiple vendors, repeating the same information, and trying to determine who owned a problem. LowV Systems developed a more unified approach that brings these disciplines together through one accountable team.

Today, LowV Systems supports organizations across Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, Hershey, Carlisle, York, and Central Pennsylvania. The team combines local service with practical planning, clear communication, and solutions shaped around how each client actually operates.

  • Ken Darr

    Owner / Vice President
    Ken Darr founded and leads LowV Systems, Inc., a Managed Intelligence Provider based in Mechanicsburg, PA, serving Central Pennsylvania businesses across security, fire safety, and IT. With a hands-on background as a licensed electrician and years of field experience in access control, CCTV, fire alarm, and building automation systems, Ken built LowV on a foundation of technical expertise and integrity. His commitment to quality has been recognized in industry publications, including a feature in Campus Safety Magazine for LowV's ongoing work with Central PA schools. Today, Ken oversees LowV's full-service approach — pairing decades of security and life-safety experience with a growing managed IT division — living out the company's mission of "One Team. Zero Gaps."

  • Lori Machemer

    Senior Network Consultant
    Lori brings more than 20 years of IT and network consulting experience to her role as Senior Network Consultant at LowV Systems. She works closely with clients on everything from network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and Microsoft 365 to server environments, cloud migrations, troubleshooting, and long-term technology planning. A problem solver at heart, Lori enjoys digging into complex technical issues and finding the root cause rather than settling for a temporary fix. She believes the best technology solutions start with understanding how a client actually works and strives to make IT understandable, practical, and reliable. Outside of work, Lori enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also enjoys traveling, crafting, decorating, and staying involved in her local community, particularly through recreational, travel, and high school softball.

    IT Sales / Account Manager
    Luis brings a veteran's discipline and a competitive bodybuilder's drive to everything he does at LowV Systems. As Account Manager, he leads marketing, sales, and client relationships for LowV's IT/MSP division — helping businesses across Central PA close the gaps in their technology and security posture. A husband and dedicated family man, Luis believes strong relationships are built the same way as strong results: through consistency, discipline, and showing up every day. Whether he's meeting with a client or in the gym, his approach is the same — low-pressure, straightforward, and focused on real outcomes over hype.
